John’s mission is to provide key metrics and quantified advice to help stakeholders make better informed decisions which lead to better outcomes. Working within Fidelity’s Regional Insights and Proposition team, he leads the dual functions of research and analytics on one hand, and client experience on the other. To generate insights, John manages and executes innovative research programs tapping into customer, market and brand behavior. John leads key members in the team through a discovery process to turn data into intelligence and ultimately insights which can drive decision making. John is passionate about marketing strategy, its impact on customer experience, and ultimately profitability. He is a trained economist, living in Asia for more than 20-years, primarily working in strategy, planning and research for blue-chip firms such as HSBC, Cathay Pacific and The Economist Intelligence Unit. More recently, before joining Fidelity a few years ago, he has served in a consulting role, helping multinational corporations and leading financial institution set-up their research and analytics teams to capture and use business intelligence to win market share and grow their businesses throughout Asia.
